360 Online Help!?

I just bought Xbox 360. When I go online into a lobby in Madden 07 it says that my communication privileges are locked. It will not let me scroll down the list of names in the lobby, so I cannot play anyone. Also, it will not let me talk through my mic in any of my online games. I called Microsoft but they seemed clueless. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Use the XBOX dashboard and change the security settings or the family settings. Change them to allow access to all that stuff, make them very 'light rules'.
I am not 100% sure about that, but give it a shot.
