Broken Xbox 360 need repair?

The disc drive needs to be repaired, possibly replaced. Is there any place like a repair center or something along that line, before sending it back to microsoft for the expensive fee?

Microsoft just anounced that they are extending their warranty to 1 year. If it's been less than that they will fix it for free. You can call them at 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

I don't know of anyone else that repairs them.
