i dont have a clear understanding of what an emo is i am hearing this alot not and i have no idea what this people are please help

black hair, tight rock tee, girl jeans (on a guy), converse, and cut marks on their arms. they are over-emotional, think no-one understands them (yet they have their genre that many follow), some are suicidal, and bi-sexual.

I would say that an "emo" person is one who displays more emotion than the average person, particularly emotion that is negative or relating to something negative.

they are arrogant, dressin black, they cut their wrists, and they listen to hawthorne heights, MCR, and other stuff like that. theyre normally depressed and have a real opinion. they are verry emotional
