The act "Miss Cleo" was originally presented by that woman as part of a comedy troupe--seriously. The woman at first was mocking other "psychics." She realized, tho, that humans--being rather stupid--would pay her much more for it being real than for it being funny. She began marketing the "Miss Cleo" thing as a real psychic and, funny as it was, the money poured in. However, as you can tell by reading this, the truth will come out. My guess is that she's hiding.
