My ex and I got pregnant two months after getting married and had twins seven months later. It was very hard for us. We hardly had time to enjoy each other before the twins came, and because they were early and had some problems, it tested our relationship. I think it would have been better for us to have waited a year or two to really establish a strong relationship before adding the demands of children.

It depends on the couple and their situation. Some people decide to start right away. I guess it all depends on the financial situation and if the couple can afford children. Not only financially but the couple must also look at will they be able to provide the time that a child needs. There really is no time limit though. It depends on the couple.

Depends on if the two of you have accomplished some goals Like owning a home and getting good jobs.
Kids will need a lot finanically and you have to decide if you can afford the extra mouth to feed. So what I am really saying is that there ain't no ideal time for babies

My husband and I have been married for about 9 mos, but have been together for over 3 yrs... I am so ready.... I can't wait to have a baby, I think it depends on how long you have been together also, what both parties want, and how many kids you want, we want 4-5, so you have to plan on how much time you want inbetween and everything...hope this helps

Of course you have to take into consideration how long you were together before actually marrying but I would say wait one full year before even trying to have a baby. But nothing will make you feel more close than a new baby.

It depends on the maturity level of the couple. You can wait two years or 10 years or 3, 6 mos. or whatever. It all depends on you two.

It depends on the couple. I got pregnant just over a year after my ex and I got married. You never quite feel like it is the right time, but when it happens... it is the best.

I've always heard that 3-5 years is a good time period. That's plenty of time for the two of you to simply enjoy eachother and solidify your relationship before the focus turns to the children.

For every couple it's different, my wife and I waited almost a year and a half after we got married before she got pregnant with our oldest.
