Who's baby? Her and your baby? Or your baby?
If it's your blood child and not hers, call the cops.
If it's your child together, you have rights as the father. Once custody rights are established with you having either partial custody or visitation, then she is no longer able to just pack her stuff and move far away. She has to petition the court for permission to move, which most likely won't be granted if you oppose.
As for breaking your heart, nobody is bullet proof, bro.
Focus on the kid.

You should go straight to a lawyer. If she is the baby's mother the police don't really like getting involved and there's really not much they can do anyway. You would need to seek legal advise. Depending on the situation, if you have been in the baby's life from the start the lawyer would submit an order to the courts for contact (and the contact issue also depends on your situation). She will be served and if a contact order is made in your favor then she has to comply or she then could be arrested. So the police can only help when that happens. In the courts eyes, every parent has a right to see the kids unless they maybe in some sort of danger. So go to a lawyer and get the ball rolling, it is a long dragged out process, so the longer you put it off, the longer you'll be waiting. Jump to it and you will be fine. Good Luck

Hi itdoesn'tmat...!!!
First of all, you don't give much explanations on as to why this happened??? Because this is a very delicate situation I have few questions myself???
1. What is the real situation?
2. Were domestic violence taking place on your part?
3. For how long?
4. Are drugs or alcohol, involved?
5. Did you let police know about this situation?
6. Have you seek professional help?
7. Have you thought in the best interest of the child involved?
8. Why was the motive of this woman braking your heart?
9. Were you a good respectful husband and father?
10. Were you providing emotional and financial support?
Ambidestr, I believe that in order for any one even to comment on such a delicate, dangerous issue, you should answer most if not ALL of this questions, truthfully.
A mother and wife just don't pick-up and go, for the fun of it!!
Specially on this time of the year, unless they are so sick, tired and afraid for their lifes and their child's life.
So think for a moment and make yourself much more clear on this one. The life of a child is at stake, and definitely, you have something to do with it!!!
Pray, and find within yourself the answer. We all Yahoo people can help, but only of you are wlling to provide more info.
My concern is towards the wellbeing of the child, and the state of mind in which the mother might be at this time!!!
Grownups could be so selfish, at times not considering that their behavior, actions and reactions to situations, put children "IN THE LINE OF FIRE", without the ability to defend themselves.
Give part to authorities at ones, admit any wrong doing to help the situation, and get help. Regardless of who's fault it is all of you need professional conseling assistance at this point.
My prayers are with all of you, specially with the person who is responsible, for making a mother and child leave at this time of the year!!!
And I hope they are save some place. ALIVE!!!!!
Concern!!!!??????

You'll have to fight for custody if she is the mother.
If she literally kidnapped the child and she is not its biological mother, legal guardian or has lost custody then obviously you call the cops. Some women are crazy, but others have good reasons for leaving. Think hard about what the real or perceived reasons she may have for not wanting the child around you.
