What is the best way to preserve a sterling silver ring, while wearing it everyday?
Does it matter if it gets wet?

if u protect it with silver polish then it should be fine when wet. it only tarnishes in air if not protected

I think that you can get it wet, I don't see why not. I wear sterling silver everyday and I get it wet. If it gets tarnish on it you just put some toothpaste on it and wipe it off. The toothpaste thing works really well! I hope I helped! Good luck!

You can definately get sterling silver wet. I wear sterling everyday and wash my hands all the time. If it gets tarnished use Wright's silver polish.

if it is sterling silver, then it is fine to get wet. Just use a regular jewerly cleaner to clean it everyonce in a while to keep it shiny!

Tip: After you've polished your silver jewelry, use the tiniest dab of vaseline and rub it into the jewelry. It will preserve the polish and keep tarnish off.

no it can ruin it i have tried it before and i had to buy another one and i hope you don't get it wet because wxspensive things cost a lot to repair

mine always gets wet, but it still looks as good as new.
If it get wet dry it everywere, because if you just keep the ring on and never take it of thenit could get gross, one week you wash your hands 3 weeks later oyu take the ring off and.....................

water shouldn't hurt it, or everyday wear. i would make sure it dry it well before storing though.
