sleep in, she'll sleep in all 4 corners quite happily (i'm presuming anyway) she is 16 weeks old. my previous hamster only ever slept in 1 corner, never anywhere else. is my hamster trying to tell me that she's not happy? she seems fine, loves her cuddles and i let her out every evening for a run around the kitchen. i have tried putting a nesting bed in her cage but she moved it out of the way and never laid on it. any advice would be great as i'm not sure if i'm worrying unnecessarily, feeling paranoid as i lost my other hamster very suddenly and want to keep my new hamster as happy as possible. thanks. x

I have a hamster and it never stays in one corner either. I had a different breed of hamster before and it had its own corner like your old one. Maybe different breeds, or just different hamsters, all have different personality's. Enjoy your hamster!

Not all hamsters have a particular corner they always sleep in. Your old hamster might have just been a really organized. I don't think you need to worry about it.

Thye usually settle down around 2 weeks. Try not to move things around the cage. A little house with a roof maintains privacy and they can always shut the door with wood chippings!

if it doesn't have a courner it will sleep in you should randommly put some bedding material around its cage then when it chooses where it will sleep it will go around collecting it and making its self a bed i done this for my hamster

it was good coz it got to choose and also gave the hamster something to do
