Jane Iredale pressed mineral make-up. It's a foundation, concealer, & powder in one. It's about $50 but lasts forever & won't break you out. Physicans Formula also makes pressed mineral wear about $12 sold at CVS is almost as good, but I like the Jane Iredale a bit better. You can get it on eBay for about $30. After using it I won't ever use liquid or cream make-up again. This makes your complexion flawless & beautiful. It's kind of like Bare Essentials, which I've used and is fine, except Bare Essentials is loose and it makes a big mess everywhere. Jane's is neat and doesn't make a mess. Aloette, Youngblood, Sheer Cover, & Glominerals also make a pressed mineral which I'm sure is just as good, if you try it get one that's close to your natural skin color. But really though you'll love this make-up and you just can't get it wrong. Happy New Year.

The brand of skincare you use might make more of a difference than the makeup. I would recommend Mary Kay for both makeup and skincare. All of their formulas can be used for people with sensative skin and your skincare and makeup can be customized just for you.
Mary Kay offers several different types of foundations including liquid and powder to find the one that is perfect for your skin type. While the products might seem a little expensive at first, great skin is worth it and the products last a LONG time so it really isn't that expensive when you break it down.
Mary Kay also offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee so you can exchange or return products with no hassle if they don't work for you.

my skin is the same way. I cant really tell you what brand of makeup is better but I can tell you that what ever brand it is to use a powder foundation because liquid is more likely to clog your pores than anything. I use covergirl powder foundation to cover up the redness on my face and I also use olay regenerist. microdermobrason and face peel in one system works tremenduslly

Revlon concealer and foundation. Or just look on the labels for "Oil-free" or "Oil-sensitive" or something like that. The makeup you were using probably just has too much oil for your face.

Bare Minerals or Clinque.
To some degree, you get what you pay for.
