No, it wasn't banned at the cinema. I personally thought it sucked in comparison to one and two not enough torture and too much of aa storyline. They didnt even try to top the needles in part 2. There will be a part 4 out soon but not the same directors.

I am not sure but i think that they left it in the cinema because when other scary movies were shown that were even scarier they never banned them. Also i watched saw 3 and it was not that good. I also would say maybe the only reason why they took it out is because it cam out like 1 or 2 months ago. But u can always go to rottentomatoes.com and look at clips from it.

No, the movie was not banned from the Movies as matter of fact it was a great movie not to bad would not see why people would be passing out but that is just me :)
