Most torrent clients are much of a muchness in terms of speed because they all implement the BitTorrent protocol in the same standard way, the only thing that tells them apart is how efficiently coded they are and how rich in features they are. For instance, Azureus has pretty much every feature you could ever want, but it's written in Java which makes it bloated, resource hungry and none too stable. The official BT client is lightweight and easy to use but completely lacking in functionality compared to the third party clients.

In terms of combining everything you could want I think uTorrent wins hands down: it's compact, never takes more system resources than it needs, yet still has every feature you could ever want. It really is the best of all worlds.

If you don't mind the porn advertisements, Torrent Portal is a great search site. And of course, BitTornado is the best client to have on your PC, it does not take up much resources at all.

I like the Azureus client. It's easy to use and the torrents come in reasonably quick.

Azureus is the BEST client I have ever used.

It has a update every day (BETA Updates, Mind you).

I don't know if you'd consider it the same thing but I use Limewire. Just stay away from .mov and .exe files.
.exe can be viruses and .mov are usually garbage and/or contain ad-ware and pop-up windows.
