I would have to say my dog dying on Decemember the 17th. I was out of town and I new he was getting worse and worse. But I had no idea that he would get even worse while I was gone. I had him for 14 years and he was about to be 15. I don't think I have ever cried so hard in my life right there in the store when my parents called me. Then when I got home I walked through the house looking for him and this went on for days. He was my best friend. Always there to listen to me. And in the mornings I would come down stairs and lay on the floor with him and just talk to him. I really to miss him. I know this isn't like yours and I know thats aweful I will be praying for you . God Bless

When my neighbor, who was a little brother to me, died of cancer at the age of 7. I knew him his entire life. That was 12 years ago, but I still remember that day clearly and I still always think about him, and what he would be like now.

My mother in law dying this year in September. We watched her fade from April on from two advanced cancers. We kept hoping she would pull through but eventually she went into ICU and never came out of there. It was so sad because she was the strongest woman; she had one of the highest pain thresholds of anyone I know - and in the end, the pain was even too much for her. My husband and I miss her so much.

my parents divorcing when I was 6 yo
escaping from communist Bulgaria & leaving family, friends & my dog behind;
being diagnosed with ALS (MND) & given only 1 - 3 years of life;
being told that I cannot have kids;
my husband cheating on me when I was in hospital not knowing if I'll die.
However I was blessed with a beautiful daughter, survived terminal incurable illnes & kicked the infaithful husband out of the house.

When I was sitting in the kitchen and my mom got a phone call that her mom had just died, the night my mom was packing to go see her. It was horrible, because all I remember is my mom bursting into tears and clutching my dad.
