i am having memory stick duo problems with my phone please help?

i have just got a sony erricson k750i and i have got a 512mb memory disc for it. when i am uploading songs it only uses the phone memory not the memory disc and now my phones memory is ful and its saying that i cant upload any more songs onto phone due to lack of memory for the phone when my memory disc has loads on it please help

Go to settings and change it from phone storage to card storage.
