I stayed with my ex for 6 years only for the kid.And after that I just couldn't go through the abuse anymore so I worked up the courage to walk away from him.

There were things about him that I loved. I enjoyed his company and didn't have anyone better to replace him with. Sometimes you put up with a lot for a little bit of pleasant company.

I loved him and I thought he loved me. Even as bad as he treated me, I still love him and he makes my knees shake every time I see him, which is often because he lives right down the road.

a couple of times I was just blind but with my husband it's true friendship. That title also includes true unconditional love. I didn't think it was possible outside of my immediate family but at age 34 he proved me wrong!

It was habit. Dragon was so used to being with that person, it was a habit to be with them. A bad habit. Now that person is gone and Dragon doesn't have to deel with that bad habit anymore.

I'm still with him. Mutual admiration, friendship, love and passion, but not necessarily in that order ;)
