I think you mean
"Would you let your daughter at 12 have fake nails put on?"
The answer is no! Kids grow up much too fast as it is. Why help them along with something that is for older girls? Wait till she is 14 in HS.

No, those fake nails ruin your natural nail base. Encourage your daughter to let her own nails grow. Then when she has long enough nails she can create all the fancy designs they have to offer as well as just get the nail painted which could be also be the inexpensive way to go. They still will paint your natural nail with the designs that will fit your nail.

No. Encourage her to spend her money on something more worthwhile than sitting in salons at the age of 12. She can always paint her own nails, its kind of trashy to see a 12yr old girl with big long falsies - same goes for tarty clothes full make up etc. They look like jailbait then their mother complains when their daughter is getting chatted up by 18 yr old boys. Think about it.

NO! Kids need to have their childhood. They're growing up too fast these days. False nails on 12 year old, I've heard it all now!
Just because other parents might let their kids have them put on it doesn't make it right.
The fact that you've had to ask the question on here means that you must really be unsure and if you are that unsure then the obvious answer is to say no to her.
Do more things as a family and help her to enjoy her childhood while she still can.
PLUS, false nails are seriously chavvy. DO NOT encourage chavvy-ness in young children, the long-term affects of chavvy-ness have not been thouroughly researched, but my advice is, DON'T let it happen to your child.

No i would not. She is not even a teenager yet! My daughter works in a beauty salon and a woman came in to have a treatment. Her THREE year old daughter sat and watched. My daughter noticed she had had acrylic nails done. THREE years old! Scandalous, in my opinion.
Back to your question - if you let a child of 12 do this, then where does it stop?
By the way, about two years ago i had acrylic nails done for a wedding. (i'm 49) It took six months for my nails to recover. They wreck your nails. I dont recommend them to anyone, let alone a pre-teen.

I would not, but that's up to you. The only reason I would say no is because of the long term effects on their nails. It totally ruins them once they come off. You could do press-ons, and use glue, they look just as nice usually, but don't damage the nails so badly.

Only if she saved the money for them and she was a nail biter this might help her to stop. But if she's not a nail biter then there is no reason for her to waste money on this. I have been a nail biter all my life and have just recently used the glue on youself nails to help me stop and it worked and they did not damage my nails as others have suggesteed.
So if its for this reason I would say why not

Yes if that is what she wants, remember she is a girl and she is at the age where she wants to start trying all the girlie stuff,.
If that was my child i would get mine done too with her WHY does a 12yr old have to be girlie GO ON TREAT YOURSELF!!!.... i used to get acrylic ones put on every month or so and they would just grow up with my natural nail.

Yes, I had nailpolish since I was 4. Nails aren't going to say anything about her or make her look trashy or anything. She's 12, its really normal to get your nails done at that age.

It sounds a little young, but I think I would let her do it. I might...I would have to think about it. If she gets them done professionally, green mold grows on your real nails, and I don't think I would want my daughter to have that on her. I might just let her do the ones that you buy and glue on yourself. I would recommend the glue on french tips, they stay on pretty long because they aren't the whole nail, they are just the tip. Good luck! I hope that I helped!
P.S. I would think carefully about it first though!!
