Not lately. I fell victim to one some years ago, but never got caught in another one. I was a victim of identify theft, but caught that before any money disappeared. Caused a lot of trouble, changed credit cards, bank accounts, etc. You just really have to be careful and don't believe you are going to get something for nothing and never open or answer email from someone you don't know.

I have been a victim of a scam. I am too embarrassed to say what or how. Everyone was like how could you fall for that? I still owe money and no one helped me. I thought that I would feel better by asking the question on yahoo but after all was said I felt worse. Sorry if you got scammed. It won't happen to me again.

The scams that we somehow accidentally got involved in never actually went so far that we were victims, but there were people e-mailing us and wanting to basically transfer money illegally to the U.S. from Africa and give us a percentage to allow them to use our bank accounts. We turned it into the FBI which you can do through their website, it's called IC3.
