i am so sick and tired of this war that is going on. As of monday the number of people that have died in this war was only 1 less than the number of people that died on 9/11. if anyone can give me a very good reason why we are fighting with the middle east then maybe i would be able to understand a little better why we are fighting with other humans.
Those out there who support the war, let me know why you think that innocent people in iraq are dying, tell me why WE have the right to ruin other peoples lives.
dont think that i am not aware that thousands of americans are risking their lives for this country. but families are in grief because,
one of their family members are out there fighting. do really think that we have right to determine that these people have to die just because they werent born in this corrupted country that is supposedly "perfect". think.

Please do not listen to Ed, since he believes that the US is in the Middle East to promote democracy. Little does he know that Iran use to have a democratically elected government and that the US assisted in toppling it. How about Lebanon electing a government which the UN put sanctions on? Amazingly that nations attempt to bring democracy to other nations, but when they do something democratically that the UN does not like, then they are sanctioned or invaded or both.
The US entered the war in Iraq under false pretenses (WMD) which have never surfaced nor been proven. Many people are getting tired of the war, however imagine how the people of Iraq feel about it. They have a foreign nation that has occupied their country illegally and it is their citizens who are dying in mass numbers.

Iraq is no war! These men/woman are fighting in a country where there is no democrocy and I dont think it would work there anyways. relgion is there ruling party. It would be like here in America if you were christian. but lets say ur Cathlic but I was Bapitized. We believe in one god and generally we practice in a belief but the denomination has splittered off into diffrent groups off christian belief. that is the way iraq is and always will be, there true diffrence is politic and realigion is the same. Our goverment constitutes a diffrence between church and state. I am sick of the war too but sadly People like Bush is going to force democracy onto other countries that will never see democrocey as a good thing.

we are at war because of the intel. that ALL of the congress was given showed that we needed to do something over there before they brought the war over here.
unfortunately people die in war, but you have to remember that sadam was killing a heck of a lot more people (his own people) than have died due to this war.
what the media shows you on TV is not very accurate, they don't show all of the good things that WE are doing in Iraq like rebuilding schools, hospitals, powerplants and helping rebuld their military and police force so they can eventually take care of themselves.
these other human you say we are fighting with would have no problem coming into YOUR house and cutting off the heads of YOUR mom & dad (brothers & sisters if you have any) and YOURS and would sit down at your table and celebrate their deeds. now if you take a minute and just think about that maybe you will start to understand why we are war.
what these terrorist are doing is nothing new, they have been doing these horrific things for a thousand year, so don't think it is something that has been caused by the USA or our president. it wouldn't matter who are president was or is. these people want to kill us because we do not believe in Alla and their religion. they are taught to either convert us or kill us, but have found we do not convert easily so they just settle for killing us.
look what they did to NIck Berg, someone who was simpathitic to their beliefs. they held him down and hacked off his head while he was screaming and begging for his life. you can see the video on Micheal Savages website and see what kind of people we are fighting

I don't support this war either. Ever since the war began we've been losin many troops for a lost cause. Bush was right to invade Afghanistan but not Iraq but he wants his oil. He probaly wanted to invade Iraq for a long time and 9/11 gave him an excuse.

to my recolection George H. W . Bush (george w. bush's dad) started the war in the early 1990's. Back then iraqis were invading kuwait for their oil. that is y we invaded then. now, however, George W Bush sees a potential connection between sept. 11 attacks when there are none. secondly, he believes that we need to intevene because of the way saddam was treating his people when we really should be focusced on osama bin ladin. keep in mind that george w. bush is a "C" student and has nothing better to do. however, iran is becoming a threat

this war is pretty dumb freedom and democracy we are giving to a people who really don't care reason being that for thousands of years they have never thought this way. these people are still in the feudal era they need to do this for themselves we cannot control them or tell them what to do by the way when we do that we take away there freedom of decision its up them to go through an enlightenment much like Europe did and the USA back in the 1700's

Thank you for asking. I am with you on this war and have a burden for our soldiers in Middle East right now with you.

I did this homework in one of my English classes, and want to share to you.

Is Iraq War Necessary?

This issue brings on the war itself among the people in this world. In the United States of America, the debated would go on about this war and split the people right in the middle. Because we have a Republican president, everything he does or did would cause a disagreement with the Democrat’s. The president has a hard time trying to make any decision on anything because the liberal democrats make it difficult and try to vote down any bill he tries to pass. The phase of this would be “He’s Damned if he does, and damned if he doesn’t”. We hope and pray that someday we as people of the US would all agree about something. It seems like it would be an impossible thing to happen, but the Bible tells us that someday it will happen. Such a man we do know of, he is the Anti- Christ, he will control the world and hold it in his hand, and everyone will listen to him and do everything he tells them to do. That day will come when everyone will believe, what the Anti-Christ believes, and they will have to follow him. For now, we need to put to thought what is best for us as American people.
Just like a fence would help bring peace in the neighborhood, war would help bring freedom to the world. It might not seem right to many people, but that is how it has to be done. War starts when one side doesn’t want to live in peace.
Jay Dubya wrote about Saddam Hussein and the Iraq.
Dubya explains:
Saddam Hussein’s intent was to invade Kuwait and then take over Saudi Arabia, the same time he wanted to control all of the Arab oil and hold the U.S. and the free world hostage to both economic and political extortion. Saddam Hussein never had a chance to invade Saudi Arabia. President Bush had effectively protected and preserved our unparalleled prosperity and our highly envied American way of life (Dubya).
Hussein did not need all that, but he wanted more, and went after what did not belong to him; war started when Kuwait cried out for help to protect what belonged to them. The United State is a part of the U.N. Coalition.
Department of Public Information Citation:
The United Nations, or UN, is an international organization established in 1945 and now made up of 191 states. With the exception of the Holy See, the sole permanent observer state, all internationally recognized independent countries are members (Department of Public Information).
We have no choice but to help because we had to keep our agreement with Kuwait and the other country in the U.N. Hussein became more of an America hater because we had a president that was not going to put up with his evil doings. Saddam Hussein luck began when Osama Bin Laden of Saudi was the mastermind behind the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City. Now Hussein knew that there was someone else that hated the US as much as he did. Hussein then became Bin Laden’s friend and supports him. We ended up having two enemies, not just one. President George W. Bush try to bring both Hussein and Bin Laden down, but no one knows where Bin laden is at, we went after Hussein because we knew where he was. It’s not like we haven’t gone after Bin Laden, we just haven’t been able to find him. Do you like bullies? I don’t! In the end, we have found out that the presidents’ worst enemies are the ones he is trying to protect along with the rest of the American people, which are the Liberal Democrat’s.

We are in a war because we take a part in it even if we do not wish to admit that.
We call ourselves a democracy but we are not very determined to drop our own anger. Then I put the blame for my helplessness on somebody and that's where war starts.

No need to reiterate all the obvious and known reasons, again. The people of Iraq and most of the region are hundreds of years behind the curve and need to be brought into the 21st century. Educated, set free and allowed to live life without fear.
Any war will affect innocents, its the price we all pay for freedom.
