Don't know if this works, as I have never tried it, but apparently you need to iron the affected area with a cloth (e.g. a tea towel) on top - that way, the melted wax soaks into the cloth and away from the clothes.

To remove candle wax from clothes simply place some absorbent paper on top of the stain then apply the iron above that.
The heat will melt the wax which will be absorbed by the paper.
Net result? Wax gone - all removed - from the material. Great result!

I know of a couple of ways first is to but the item in the freezer this will allow you to take the worst of it off then using an iron and a tea towel, place the tea towel over the wax and apply the iron this should melt the wax and the t towel should soak it up, it might spoil your t towel but it is better than spoiling your clothes.. hope that helps, happy new year

Definitely do the iron trick ive used it many a time! Just pop a towel over the top and run the iron over it slowly pressing hard and the wax just melts and soaks up into the towel - and it doesnt make your towel waxy from as far as I can remember but if you are concerned about this use some tough brown paper or an old cloth!

Put it in the freezer. The wax will harden to the point where you can lift it. Then scrape the rest off with a knife. If you heat the wax it will leave an oil stain.

Put the item between two serviettes and use your ion on normal setting to ion the wax out. You might need to repeat more than ones. Wash in soapy water and dry.
