OK a bloody show is usually in-cased in a mucus its called the mucus plug its sort of jelly like brownish red in color very small and you may bleed a Little when it comes out but i only experienced that when i was already in labor it never came first .
of coarse another sign if you will of coming labor is the bag of waters breaks that is the amniotic fluid leaking from the uterus or womb . it in my case was always again after i was in full labor meaning i was having regular contractions that incresed in strength over time and were closer together ! i am a mother of six and i always new when i was in labor the contraction start to come closer and closer and when they are 3 to 5 min apart call the doc its time to have a new baby !!!!

The mucus plug looks like a small jelly fish with no tentacles, and yellow, brown and pink bits in it. My plug came out after my waters broke with two of my pregnancies. Don't worry if you have had a show, but if your waters brake then contact the maternity ward or midwife.

A show of blood or bloody mucous or jelly like stuff could mean that labour is about to start. No need to panic, but if your waters go then contact midwife or hospital.

Good luck. It is a natural process. Go with it. Don't fight it, you can do it!

What was it like? Usually a bloody stained or clear jelly like substance is show.. usually follows with labour, up to a few days after! Good Luck if it, you will soon know if you go into labour!
