I have done a personal survey that is extensive and includes every socioeconomic group of women/girls, and less than 20% of you meet the common definition of "lady." Do you think that you are a lady, and why? I mean, you may be women, but you sure don't seem to be ladies.

If you have to ask for the common definition of "lady", you defintely are not one.

Based on the answers to my question thus far (16), you can see the accuracy of my study.

Being a woman, I can honestly say that I know where you're coming from. I do not consider myself a "lady" by definition. I know what a proper lady should be and I'd love to be one, but how I was raised and how I choose to live my life is not that of a "lady." Too bad though because I think the world needs more of them! However, I think that society has put pressure on females to compete and act more domineering and this has caused the common "lady" to fizzle out.
I do not think you should have made the statment: I mean, you may be woman, but you sure don't seem to be ladies. This is targeting ALL females and as you stated in your "extensive study" about 20% meet the common definition.

I would say that I am a lady, were it not for the small fact that I am a bit young to be considered one, only 13- so I suppose I am a "young lady". I would fit the definition that you are looking for, however archaic it may be, as I know proper etiquette, french, and take ballroom dancing lessons (if there were gloves in this day and age I might wear them). I also behave myself accordingly, and I do not partake in any of the vulgar activities that my generation does. I suppose when I grow up I will be a "Lady" I do hope that this answers your question, and good luck with whatever you are planning to use this for. However, I have one small question, are you a Lady?

I consider myself to be a woman, which I think is much better than some women out their who still act like girls, or women who pretend to be ladies when their actions do not show it.
I would rather be real, and better yet, enjoy a beer or snort when I laugh sometimes or put my elbows on the table, then to be an uppity old "lady" as you so nicely put it, with a bug up my A** and little white gloves on
Anyone agree?

well 'lady's' are meant to where skirts and dresses and those kinda things, and do lady stuff, but i don't really think it matters what you look like or what you do! take for instance, i do football, hockey, get mucky, get bruises all over me!! but i don't care! its fun not to be posh and 'be a proper lady' So i will not be in the lady definition!!! But i don't even know what a 'lady' definition is!!!

I don't and never would consider myself a lady. I do believe that I am 100% all woman. I don't think I'am a lady b/c we have a lack of gentleman and even man nowadays.

i could provide one a shot with no 2nd theory. For me when I come to a determination to who i visit be with in keeping with who they are. what sort of individual they are. despite if or no longer they are being concerned or despite if or no longer they seem to be a good individual or no longer. Race would not even come into the question for me and if somebody does no longer evaluate you because of the fact of your race... could you desire to be with them besides? i in my view think of a few Asian adult adult males are somewhat heat. this is not desperate via despite if somebody is black, Hispanic, Asian or White. on the tip of the day there is going to be human beings from all walks of existence have been one individual will look at them and not be interested in them. yet, then somebody else will see them and think of this is the guy of their desires. You sound like a good looking individual and you mustn't provide this any-extra theory or enable it subject you. you're above that kind of ****. all people who could decide you or unlike you for being Asian is a low existence.
