If you want to teach spanish, major in education with a minor in spanish. Talk to your guidance councelor; there should be a program that allows you to choose certain criteria in searching for a school such as programs of study offered, distance from home, private vs public, size, etc. Look on school websites for the phone numbers/emails of the education and language departments and contact them to ask your questions. Talk to spanish teachers in your school about where they went and what they thought. There are magazines/publications that annually rank different institutions. Enjoy the research.

Middlebury College (http://www.middlebury.edu/) is the school most often identified with foreign language study. They are located in Vermont. It is a marvelous institution. There may be some as good. You will not find any better.

i think you should be looking at good, accredited education programs who also have a good foreign language program. the accredidation is the most important part though.

sorry, no suggestions as to where.
