I keep getting a DISC CHECK on my computer when i start it and i cant get it to MOVE ON after its COMPLETED?

i just installed windows sp2 and it told me to restart so i did so and then when it was restarting it said please wait for a long time so i figured it was froze so i shut it offf and restarted it, upon doing so i keep getting disc check messages and then after the check is over it just stays there and wont leave the screen-
how do i contine the start up of my computer and get it off the screen of disc check?

my dear u try frm different way ill advise u but u need to follow me sincerely if u do this way ull never get such meseges in the future ,now copy ur sp2 on ur hardrive first u can choose d: drive for pasting the folder of sp2 remove the cd frm hardrive and now go to the folder of sp2 open it the setup file and press enter the sp2 will now start installing , leave ur system alone and sit back n relax , let him do automatically .

Your hard drive might have crashed...if it cannot get past the disk check, that is a very bad sign. Try putting it into another computer and running disk check there.
