you need to put the money back. out of your own money obviously and then turn the wallet in to the police.
how would you like it if someone found your wallet and instead of turning it in, they stole all your money

If you have already spent great part of the 800 Stp. there is nothing you can now do, except, accept the fact that you should have returned the wallet.
Do everything possible to return the documents.
I once fount a woman's purse on my club´s floor, of course inside of it was some money, keys, and important documents for the owner.
Being inside the purse the owner´s phone number I called her to give her the good news.
Considering it logical, she commented : "and when you found it, of course, already, there was not any money in it"
To her surprise I told her the money was there.
So finally we agreed she would pick her purse up at my house.
When she came, she had with her a big bottle of cologne for me, a friendly smile and the recognition that I am an honest person.
Although many years have passed since then, I still feel proud of what I did.

That money was not yours to spend! Sounds like you could have returned the money, but didn't, which makes me wonder: how good of a person are you? You take money that's not yours and lie to people about where you got it. What if it was some poor guy's paycheck he just cashed and that's all he has to feed his family for a while? Sounds like you really didn't need the money...you said you bought a lot of stuff in "sales." Wow, I hope I never lose my purse and have you find it! Shame on you!!!!! That's horrible. Return the wallet and the rest of the money. Tell him how horrible you were and make up the difference to him.

I truly accept as true with you - its not straightforward. Gerrard replaced into not likely to be stumbled on accountable in Liverpool (until eventually the jury replaced into made from Everton followers) as for Amy Winehouse nicely words fail me. The regulation should be as difficult or harder on celebrities - they are meant to set an get at the same time fantastically sportsmen. No ask your self the more youthful technology don't have any comprehend for authority.

You should of handed it in, it could be someones bill money, and what a ruined Christmas they are going to have now............
I lost my purse the 27th December one year and it had all my Christmas money in it, all my gift money but luckily someone handed it in............I would never keep someones wallet if i found it..........
I would suggest replacing what you have and take the goods back to the shops for a refund and hand it into the police.....
If you don't do it I hope the thought of kids having to go without throughout January gives you sleepless nights

you messed up in the first place. you should have turned it in...if you can make up for the money, do it! then turn it in...if they notice, just be honest and say what you've done. they won't mind that much, because you gave them their wallet which was still full of money. if you can't make up for it, give something worth value to the owner if found. maybe you'll be lucky and the owner won't be found and you'll get the money...anyways, was there an ID card in it? if so, was there a number with it? if so, give the owner a call...good luck and think wise

This is bad karma my friend. Just watch. Sometime soon in the future, you will lose at least twice that amount in some way.
If I were you, I'd do the honorable thing and give that poor person his or her money back. They're likely in a bad state due to losing so much cash over the holiday season.

If it was a wallet, it is bound to have information about the owner in it.
No one can help you with this decision. Spend it and live with yourself or replace the money you spent, find the rightful owner and walk away a better person.

You should've returned that wallet right away! You were wrong for spending that person's money. How do you think they felt having lost a wallet with that much money in it; probably Christmas shopping money, too?? Your conscience oughtta kick your azz!
It will come back on you...
