advise on getting rid of the smell , i have tried candles, air freshners , etc. i was thinking something to put in the attic. it is especially strong when you turn on the central air?/

try changing the air filter and have your ducts changed the smell is probably coming from the ventilation tunnels that run in the house airconditioning service tech can come blow out your whole system but it is kinda expensive
