5+A and B

There is no work, it is a conceptual question. When you add the same value to each measurement, that adds that value to the mean but the deviation stays the same.

The mean is
(5+g+5+h+5+i+5+j+5+k+5+l)/6
=(30+g+h+i+j+k+l)/6
=(30)/6+(g+h+i+j+k+l)/6
=5+A

The standard devaition is B because the deviation between the numbers has not changed.
