Movie ticket prices are getting more and more out out control which is why Netflix is doing so well charging by $5.99 a month.

I love going out as much as the next guy, but onsidering the ratio of bad movies made to good movies made is almost 5 to 1, what is a fair price of a movie ticket? Also. What was the most you have ever paid for a movie ticket and was it worth it?

Movie ticket prices will continue to spiral upwards because of several reasons. the first being the actual cost to produce a movie, then add in the cost to build these multi screen theatres....Overall, it has to be a very interesting movie to me to go to a theatre or I'll just wait till it is out in DVD and get it thru NetFlix.

The most I ever paid for a movie ticket was $8.50 (I don't go to that theater anymore). The movie theater that I go to now only charges $5.00, which isn't bad compared to everywhere else. I only go to the theater now when there is a movie out that I really want to see.

I don't know how they do it, but in my town, movies are only $3.75 for matinees before 6pm and on Wednesdays, which are family fun days, it's only $2.50 per person all day. On Wednesdays you can also buy a large popcorn and get a large soda free! How do they do it? I don't know but it sure is great!
