Are you planning on buying a dell kb, to use on a mac?
Just would not recommend it. There are aftermarket keyboards available from companies like MacAlly. Just enter Macintosh Keyboard on Google and see what all comes up

Ii you already have both, and If both have USB interface I would try it. The worst thing that could happen is nothing happens.

Most likely, you'll be missing the power on/off button on the mac keyboard.
