Why would a man be on Premarin? I found a prescription for it in my nephews room and am wondering what it is used for.

He was in an accident a few years ago and had a testicle removed. Does that make a difference?

how old is your nephew? old enough to have prostate or testicle cancer
the main indication for a man takiing premarin is to slow down testicular/prostate cancer.
it can be taken in preparation for a sexual reassingment procedure to see if you like what you gwet before your really get it
acne and facial hair stuff as previously mentioned has been tried but has no indication for that

Premarin can be used by men to decrease body hair. It has also been known to be used for acne treatment on rare occasions. Not sure what you were doing in his room, but you might try being honest with him and just ask why he is taking it.

Probably acne if he's a teen
