Have searched every web site I can find for this info, all to no avail.

is there any such bus service? i'm not so sure.. coz i live in karachi and i for one have NOT heard of any cross border bus service from karachi. the nearest is the khokrapar-munabao railway route from here.
the bus service is (cross-LOC)Srinagar-Muzaffarabad (IOK and AJK) and (cross border) Lahore-Amritsar only
there have been plans to launch a Karachi-Mumbai ferry service but they are not yet really finalized.
bottomline: no such service exists!
