Its likely you have a hardware failure and it will need to be repaired. Go to xbox.com/support and look it up.
You can also call 1-800-4my-xbox
They will fix it for free if during the 90 day guarentee. If its after that and you didn't buy the extended they charge you 130.00
My died once already and my friends died last night. This is actually common, unfortunatly.
**Edit- maybe I'm wrong, I didn't notice you said orange, hopefully that is different than red.

Its broken or some type of retarded error. Just get mad at it and throw it at your mom. Jk but I hate the big bulky XBOX's. They drive me nuts. Why can't you just get a 360 or better yet, a Wii.

ERROR ERROR basicaly it is an error with the xbox programing or you added mods or changed the hard drive
