When my husband of 10 years gave me that, I then found out shortly after that that he's been seeing another woman from his work and that he wanted out of our marriage so he could move out of state with her, move away from his 3 children, to see if this relationship would work, giving up everything we worked so hard for. Just gave it away. Didn't care. So you better definitely read between the lines when they say they need space. Better start questioning him and looking for clues. They are there, you just have to recognize them. I kick myself every day for not seeing what was right in front of my face for a few months before I found out. It was more that he didn't have the balls to tell rather than try to say that he didn't want to hurt me. It hurt more not know then finding out then just being upfront and leaving. I don't know about you but I don't want to be strung along. If you don't want to be with someone, tell them. Don't make them think that things are ok and that you will get thru whatever the rough patch maybe at the time. That hurts worse than the truth.

Invisible - when a partner tells you he wants his space - in my opinion - he is either already involved with someone else, or looking to be invovled with someone else. Sometimes, men run because they fear the closeness and women getting too close. Sometimes they run because they are getting in too deep and they are afraid to give up any more of themselves. Whatever the reason is - don't be afraid - ASK. You'll never know until you ask. We women are always afraid to ask men. Don't let him play games with you...if he wants to put some space between you - then you say - "ok. that's fine. Perhaps we are getting too close anyway. I could use some 'me' time too." I guarantee you that he will quickly change his mind - thinking that you are looking or have someone else in mind.

Plz don't think that he doesn't love u anymore he just, like every human being, needs his space. He has to hang with his dudes and burp and chug down pop while playing wideo games. It's totally natural. But take this to ur advantage.......y dont u find a new hobby, get involved in an after school program, or whatvever!

Usually it means that he/she has been acquainted with someone else but, hasn't pulled the trigger on becoming interment. So, they keep you around until they know if they are going to have sex with that other person. Be prepared to do a lot of tap dancing until the other relationship has been consummated.
NOW! Based on the sexual experience they have had with the other person totally behind you back they will then arrive to the decision on who is better in bed. You or them? If it is you space will not be as much as an issue.

Give him all the space he needs then! You too are valuable and worth having and if he doesn't "need" this in his life right now, then fine.
It doesn't mean he does not love you. Maybe you guys are just spending too much time together lately. Give him his space and let him see what he's missed.

No- it means he wants his space. It isn't always a bad thing. Some people need to have this space before marriage etc.

It doesn't mean that he doesn't love her, but sometimes men and women need some space. Sometimes its a fear of getting to close that causes this other times it because they don't want a long term relationship.

Space is a good thing if you ask me. Space makes the relationship better. Its best to give space BEFORE they say that they want it.

He is either having an affair or he is slowly ending the relationship. People who want their space are feeling suffocated by the relationship. It also depends on how long you have been together and also how much time you spend together.

Means he's not feeling you anymore like he use to. Or he may have met someone else. Or he just may want to be single again with a relationship.
Don't rag him...give him his space if he requested it because if you keep being pushy, your just gonna push him away.
