They probably found some abnormal cells when they did the test. I wouldn't worry so much about it just yet. If you are under the age of 26, you may want to ask them for the Cervical Cancer vaccine that is available now. I have had them tell me to come back every 6 months because I had abnormal cells and even had to go in for a colposcopy (which is a biopsy of your cervix), so until you have to go in for that, I wouldn't be too concerned yet.

Firstly, you should be having paps every year whether you are trying to conceive or not. There are several reasons why you might have to go back to repeat the test. Sometimes, there are not enough cells collected for them to test properly and sometimes they come back abnormal. Make a call to your doctors office and find out why you need to go back.

You need to call your Dr and ask him why the repeat test. The only time they do that is if your pap came back showing something. You have the right to call and get an answer. Good luck to you.

no longer all women persons shave, so no this is not required to shave. i in my view do on a widespread foundation. The Pap smear would not harm in any respect. this is extra uncomfortable and a sprint embarassing on the main. i could positioned the soreness point at a 2. If this is your first time i could propose to them using the smaller gadget. good good fortune!

only your doctor can tell you why he wants to do the test again. I do know that sometimes when they see something they might want to investigate a little further, they want another test to see if its still there and to compare. Talk to your doctor.
