Tell someone you Love them without meaning it, just because they said it first?

No i don't think so. I don't mean it so why say it. BUT, if I did love that person then it'll come easy to say "I love you".

Yes... because love is an emotion that has to be built up and if I am with someone that I really like and they say "I love you"... I will say it back because I know they are serious about me and I can, in turn start getting more serious towards them...

Not any longer. I've done this before just because I didn't want to hurt the other person's feelings and it turned out badly. He ended up being more hurt than if I had told the truth.
