Most Presidents were Senators, So the question you should be asking is how do I become a Senator? However I would start with local Politics first. High School Council, College Associated Students, Local Councilman, County, State, President all of this can be done between 10-20 years depending on how good you are and how fast you learn, by the way if this is your end goal you want to be building a political base the whole way up as I think it really becomes a question of money at the end.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to be president? Well, we have an idiot for a president right now so why not take a chance with another one.

Depends if you're good or not. If people like you and you are good at what you do, you'll probably be elected if you make them see why you should be president and why everyone else not - what is so special abotu you and what you offer. How do you see the future of the country?

Then we'll see!

Statistically it's nearly zero. In 230 years only 43 men have been elected president.

But if it is a goal and something you'd like to do, then pursue your goal and don't give up.

Good Luck!!

In the current political climate, excellent. If a treasonous neo-con baboon like Bush can do it, anyone has a chance.
