Did it once in 2001 for home and credit cards.

Was hit by drunk driver, seriously injured, he was found indigent so it's all on me. I have insurance, but it's not taking care of all of it. I had to stop physical therapy because I can't continue paying co pays out of pocket

You can file a chapter 7 once every 8 years. You may want to contact a bankruptcy attorney to see if you can file a chapter 13 debt repayment plan.

sad, I can see for medical bills but never credit cards. Thats just the easy way out and sad. It's your bills not the working american people.
