i know it can be done, i just forgot how to do it.

Go to the help menu on ebay and type bid retraction in. The steps will appear there. Remember that you have to have a reason to retract it. If you don't, it won't allow you to do it. Also, you will have this on your record for six-months.

Slide down to the tab that is populated with the words "Indian Giver" and double click!

There should be a cancel bid link on the auction website...

go to the auction and if you have a good reason retract your bid.
just follow the instructions.
