I am taking my children (ages 10 & 12) to Disneyland in April. What is the weather like in April? Will I have a difficult time if I rent a car for a day to do some sight seeing? Thanks.

Here's two you might enjoy, and one of them is in the park.

The Pirates of the Carribean ride circles the Blue Bayou resturaunt. We failed to realize it was there when we were there, and were disappointed to find there was not one in Orlando.

Outside of the park, there is Medieval Times, which is dining with a show. While you feast on foods prepared to resemble medieval cuisine, the knights hold their joust in the pit below. Medieval Times is also in other areas, so you may have one in your hometown as well.

It all depends on how long you plan on being there. April is mostly fine, some rain sometimes but good. A light jacket will be good to have for the evenings. Renting a car won't be a problem but the sightseeing is all dependent on what you want to see. The best thing to do is go to google maps and type in restaurants in Anaheim, CA and you'll find a whole bunch, many have websites so that you can check out the menu and see what you like.
One person noted about the Blue Bayou near Pirates of the Caribbean ride - call ahead (maybe a day or so before you visit) to make reservations because the wait can be awhile. You can get the number from the Disneyland website.
