Alright, this is kinda of a dumb question to ask, but curiousity makes me want to get an answer. Why is it that no one that wear American Eagle, Hollister, or A+F stuff, wears glasses with it? I know that they might have contacts on, blah blah blah...But still, I don't get it. Do glasses just not go with the Hollister, AE, A+F look? Or what?

And also, what is your first impression if you see some1 wearing AE, Hollister, A+F (ugh..it's getting really annoying typing those 3 store names over and over...) with glasses?

Hope y'all know what I'm trying to ask...

I'm not sure, never seen anyone wearing those that wear glasses, never paid attention. I wouldn't think anything of it if someone wore glasses with it. Looks fine to me. I think everyone wants to look like the models who wear their clothes or something.

Ha, I really do not get an impression with people wearing AE, Hollister, or A & F with glasses at all; let alone, the clothing. I don't judge people by clothing or appearances. For the glasses, it simply means that they have eye vision problems or just wear them because they think it looks good (many of my friends wear glasses that are not prescription). I wear glasses (contacts as well) with my clothing (and yes, I shop at all three of those stores). Wearing glasses has nothing to do with the apparent 'look' you are talking about. It's probably because you've never seen a person with 'Hollister' (albeit, any of those brands) plastered across their chest with optical nerve problems.

I never noticed that.. ummm I wear all of those brands and ALWAYS have my glasses on. Granted, my glasses are pretty flippin cute, but still.. i'd be like practically blind without them. I don't think it has anything to do with the clothes though.. I think it's just that the "type" of people who wear those brands may think that they personally look better with contacts.

I wear all of those brands, and I wear glasses. I don't want contacts because I like my glasses, and I don't really understand what you're "trying to ask."

I never noticed that, but come to think of it you are right. I kind of think, they are just wearing that to fit in but you never know, the person may actually like it. I think Hollister is the cutest of the 3 but still ... Like, Hollister vs Juicy? I would totally choose Juicy Couture because it's more exclusive, anybody can buy Hollister. But really, its all opinion.

I work at Abercrombie and theres a girl that WORKS there and wears the clothes constantly (we get a decent discount :P) and she looks adorable with her glasses mixed with the clothes. it is a rarity i guess, but most people that need to wear glasses prefer to wear contacts so that cuts that a ton, but look harder. there are some, and they look just as cute in the clothes

All one of my best friend wears is those brands, and Roxy, sometimes. She also wears those black rimmed, stereotypical "emo" glasses. I don't think it's a big deal.

Maybe it's because those brands are kind of expensive, and people who can afford wearing them can also afford buying contacts, I dont know.

A lot of my friends where them with glasses, I don't understand the problem. As long as you shop at an in place, you should be fine.

tall those brands are selling a look with perfect looking people wearing their clothes, and glasses are not part of the look. if i were you, i would worry less about these brand names, and more about what you like to wear, not what others want you to look like.
