I am extremely careful aobut personal info, but now my last four of my SSN pops up when I try to put numbers on a pop-up for verification (like zip code), it shows my last four of my SSN as a choice. This should only show as an option if my SSN was added with my keyboard on my computer, Right?

Some places (like my phone site, for example) asks for the last four digits of my SSN as a verification that I am who I say I am. It may have gotten in there that way on you without you really remembering it. You can erase it just by right-clicking while it is highlighted and choosing "DELETE". You can turn OFF autofill so that no further information is stored in these types of forms (or search lists, etc.) by going to Tools > Internet Options > Content > Autocomplete and choose the options you want.

It sounds like you may have used the last four at some time or another. Go into tools, internet options and clik on delete cookies. This will delete all passwords you have saved to your computer on the internet (such as e-mail password) and you will have to rekey the password and reselect to save password to computer. This is kind of a hassle but at least your SSN may not show up again.
