when you work for a large company you sign so many pieces of paper that you have no idea what you signed. Usually you sign one giving them permission to contact your school and get all the info they want.

Your college GPA won't show up on your credit report. Generally, if knowing your GPA is necessary for the job application, they will request a copy of your transcript from the school.

Even if the company contacted the school for your grades, under privacy laws the school wouldn't be allowed to provide the information without your approval.

transcripts are totally different than credit reports. Not too many businesses these days care so much about your gpa as opposed to if you graduated.

as far as i know a consumer report doesnt show your GPA, only if you obtained the degree or not. (i accidently got my neighbors mail once and didnt realize it until after i opened it)

The answer is NO, your grade point average will not show on any sort of background or employment verification check they'll run.
