Could I be Pregnant? I tested when I was 5 days late and got a negative. I Haven't been on the pill for about a month, I also haven't had a period all month (that would make me 2 weeks late )and no signs of it showing up.We are having sex every other night sometimes everynight * I started taking prenatal vitamins just in case. * I stopped my pills before and my period came a day or two later . and the same if I missed a pill. I keep having these dull pains every day in the same place. Could this be a sign of conception?I tested when I was 5 days late and got a negative. Iam a mother of 1 now she's 6. Is it true it's harder to concieve the second time arouond?

If you have ever taken any kind of hormone birth control it will be harder to concieve

Well, it is actually supposed to be easier to conceive once you have had children--I am not sure of the medical reason, but it is easier. Also, I have heard that even though some doctors say to wait a few months after going off the pill to regulate your cycle, some are now saying that you should try right away because of a surge in fertility right after going off. The only problem is that your body hasn't had time to regulate yet or establish its normal cycle--your periods won't necessarily be around the same week as they used to be. Mine went from exact 28 day cycles to 34 day cycles when I went off the pill. Also, a dull ache could be a PMS sign--early pregnancy signs could be PMS signs--even if you are pregnant you could still have PMS signs. However, the only thing you can do is wait--or go see your doctor and have them give you blood test if you think you could be pregnant. Even if you get your period (Like I did!) You could still be pregnant. I wished I would have had a blood test to confirm.

AND--being on BCP won't necessarily make it harder to concieve--it will actually make it easier if you try right after stopping your pill. It will be harder to pinpoint a conception date, however, and that is why doctors will usually encourage you to wait. I got pregnant after 2 months and I was on the pill for 10 years.

No, it's not true that it's harder to conceive the second time.
U've onl y just stopped hormonal control & it might take ur body some time to readjust hormones. Try to take it easy & keep trying. Having a relaxed frame of mind, difficult as it is when ttc, is actually the best remedy after excluding all other probs.
u cld do a blood preg test to confirm if u r pregnant or not.

Maybe you're just not having a normal cycle because you're off the pill or stopped before you finished the package of pills? Sometimes you need to have a normal cycle for a few months before you can conceive.

Your cycles are probably just irregular just off the pill. It took me 9 mo to conceive my first after years on the pill while the next three were conceived after one month of trying.
