In my experience, a friend of mine was pregnant with twins and had no idea until she was about 5 months or so. But looking back, she started showing a lot sooner than usual and she was pretty big pretty fast. Everyone is different, but if theres anything to compare it to, then she would be bigger than most girls are at that stage of the pregnancy. The only real way to tell is by an ultrasound.

Depends on the size of the twins. Sometimes their combined weight can be that of a single child. Now triplets you can definatley tell. And since 20 weeks is only 5 months, I'd venture not very big. I didn't even start showing at all until my 5th month and I'm 4'11", 90lbs (or I was at the time) and my daughter ended up being 7lbs 11oz, which is a pretty good size. It also depends on her nutrition. If she puts weight on faster, then she'll also gain weight faster. Eating healthy is a good key.

Well, she should be a little bit bigger then say a girl having a single baby at 20weeks, she wont really be huge, or looking like she is about to have them, but by the time she is in her last 3months,she should start looking like she is over due... On average twins weight about 5 to 7 pounds each..

honestly, i went to a dr's appt a few weeks back and was about the same amount along as another patient there that was pregnant with twins! she was seriously the same size as me!!! it has a lot to do with your pre-pregnancy size, and if she's hitting McDonalds a little too hard!!!
20 weeks is still early yet! def a hard time to tell!

could you be a little more direct with your question? i'll check back to answer because i've had twins myself & would love to help.
by the way i am 5'2 pre prego i was 118lbs
i gained 90 lbs & was nothing but belly!
now as they are 7 years old.
My boys were 5lbs & 5.5 lbs @ 2 months early.
every woman is different.
and to all the woman who are thinking oh my God she was huge i was!! but now i am back down to 125 and i am nothing but muscle!!! MILF all the way!!!

My docotor says that if you have twins the uterus comes up and out very soon... with one, it comes up and out at 12 weeks. I thought I might have twins, but my uterus stayed inside my pelvic bone until 12 weeks (the doctor can feel and find out). When the uterues comes up and out, he can feel externally

go to google and serch pregnant with twins or mommys belly or something in imeges and there you go. you will see alot of pictures of wemen who are pregnant with twins
