I am currently playing Darkstone (love it), but when I have concurred this, what game would be good for the next step? I have tried a couple of Final Fantasies and I don't like them. Any suggestions?

Try Kingdom Hearts, its a really great RPG, one of the greatest ever created. It's made by the Square-Enix, the company that created Final Fantasy, but it's very different and has very little in common with FF and does feature around Disney characters.
Zelda is also very good, its available on Gamecube, Wii or Gameboy Advance.
Pokemon, its cute and addictive.
Harvest Moon-focuses on farming, gathering food and raising crops and building a life.

Well it depends, computer games or like console game, i like computer rpgs, in that case guild wars or WoW
