You need to see a doctor. Find a spine specialist (ortho or neuro) and you will probably need an XRAY and maybe MRI. Neck pain is fairly common, but the dizziness concerns me. There is a blood vessel called the vertebral artery that runs inside the vertebrae of the cervical spine and compression of that artery can cause dizziness. This artery supplies blood to the brain and you do not want to compromise it. Of course, the dizziness could be caused by another problem, but it should be ruled out and diagnosed correctly.

Do NOT go to a chiropractor. Any knowledgeable chiropractor would not manipulate your neck because of the dizziness, and an uniformed chiropractor may do it and cause you to suffer a stroke.

You may have slept wrong...simple massage may make the muscle release and could make you feel better...I would take some Tylenol, see a massage therapist and if that doesn't work, then consult with a chiropractor...massage therapy costs about half as much as a visit to the chiropractor...
