Start saying hi to him first, then try to get into a conversation if you get the chance. If that's too difficult, try making friends with his friends. Find out if he's taken. After a few weeks of conversation, suggest you two go on a very casual date (if you invite him, be prepared to pay for everything. Casual does not mean dumpy. Don't call it a date, just suggest you "grab a bite" or "have lunch together." Think of a nice place, like Starbucks, where you can both hang out and talk.) See how interested he is, and then suggest you two hook up. It's important to seem laid back, and to let him talk.

Its all in the eyes, people attracted to eachother tend to hold eye contact longer than normal, if the eye contact seems to be lasting longer than it would for just a friend come right out and say "I was wondering if you'd like to go out sometime."

You have to chat them up, honey. It is no different than with any type of relationship. If you don't initiate a conversation, he will never know whether you like him or not. If you do not initiate a conversation, he will never know you exist. You've got to put yourself out there and take a chance.

well you might start a conversation with him, invite him out for a cup of coffee, or a drink somewhere. If you don't talk to him you will never know if you will like him or not. So just talk to him.

Say "Hey Bob wanna go get something to eat" or "Wanna go watch a movie". Start from there and build on it.
