I think the 99-00 Lakers team was the best ever. They had greatsuperstars (Shaq & Kobe in their prime) and terrific role players (rick fox, robert horry, derek fisher, etc.). If they could go back in time, i don't think there's another team in the history of the NBA who could've beaten them in a best of 7 series. Shaq and Kobe are just too dominating. I think the drama overshadowed how great they were together. I mean you're talking about perhaps the best tandem in NBA history. Shaq is easily among the top 5 big men of all time while Kobe when it's all set and done will be among the 5 greatest guard in the history of the game. Only the duo of Magic and Kareem can say that but Kareem wasn't exactly in his prime when Magic around. Both Shaq and Kobe were.

It's very hard to say, cause every decade you have great teams. If I had to pick one I'd say the 95-96 Chicago Bulls which went 72-10 in a really strong Western and Eastern conference that season, statistically speaking.

Thats kind of a hard question to ask. So many good players are just spread across the league you cant really pin point the best b-ball team ever!!!! But as for the best player I would have to say Dr. J and Michael Jordan...there is no match.

I think that the best NBA team are either the Phoenix Suns or LA Lakers. If you want the best college team, it has to be the UCLA BRUINS. Because they are rated #1, and because they have the best players ever. Such as Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Ryan Wright, James Keif, Darren Collison, and much more.
