I love the smell of a real Christmas tree or a real wreath.
I think people like baking smells more than flower or perfume/cologne scents because food scents are more relaxing and you can anticipate how good the finished product will taste. Flowers and perfume smell nice for a few minutes but then you get bored with the scent.

I like vanilla or cinnamon the best.
Baking smells are more liked because smell is the sense most strongly tied into memory. SInce most of our goodtimes revolve around food, a baking smell will bring back good fealings faster than outdoors smells.

Fresh brewed coffee, vanilla, laundry that dried outside, baby lotion on babies - like baking smells more because they have memories attached to them. Hate perfume smells, don't smell real.
