I wore this god-awful velvet suit jacket to an art show one time. I thought I looked fantastic. Then, I saw the pictures some time later, and realized I looked like a pimp.

I remember a dress I wore to a school dance years ago. Cute at the time, but now I'd look more like Little Bo Peep or Holly Hobbie(the old-style one, not the newer version) if I wore it.

I'm a child of the 80s, so that has to give you SOME clue as to how bad I looked! I can remember when leggings were in...the first time around!
Probably the most "recent" was the shorts with tights, shirt tied to just below my waist. We won't even go into the hair horrors.

In 1998 I wore these super sleek and kinda shiny black streth pants all the time. Boot cut, not spandex or anything that bad. But I wore them with a black silk camisole with bright butterfiles allover it. It was Sexxxxy... NOT! Hahaha.. I still laugh when I see pics of me wearing my then fave outfit!!

Stirrup pants w/granny boots, white socks and an oversized matching sweater. The 80s were all about disillusionment!!

in the seventies i owned a couple of nylon see thru shirts. I'm 51 now and i doubt the look would be the same.
