As a kid it was xmas, presents and chocolate and all that. New Years as a kid was a bit of a non-event really, always in bed before midnight.

But now I'm older it's changed to New Years. Xmas doesn't hold the same excitement anymore, whereas New Years (I usually go to the Street Party in Edinburgh) is a great time.

Well since I am not Christian and Christmas is not my holiday, this is a beyond easy choice. I prefer New Year's Eve. I like the whole idea of drawing closure to a year and welcoming a new one.

I prefer Christmas Day over New Year's Eve, because family gathers for Christmas, but by New Year's, they aren't in my presence.

New Years Eve but only because it is closer to my birthday than Christmas Day is.

Christmas day.....I like being around family. And I'm gettin too old to be runnin the streets on New Year's Eve. I'd rather get a bottle and a blunt and chill with my girl on NYE.
