I know actress Mariska just had a baby a few months back, but when is she coming back for good? She appeared on one episode and stated at the end that she wasn't ready, But I am ready for her. The new female detective is very annoying, she just don't connect to me. What do you think?

Olivia has been back on the show for one episode since then... it was called "Choreographed". And Dani Beck(the new det. quit) . New episodes of SVU start back up Jan 2nd

The episode you are referring to they hinted that the new detective would not make it. You could see how hard it was on her to deal with the cases and how she was becoming overly stressed and venerable. I believe that Olivia will be back soon.
